Introduction of the

FRIENDLY B&B FLEURS de SOLEILNETWORK

 

Fleurs de Soleil is the name of a non-profit organization founded in 1997 by a group of persons who wanted to set up an independent structure :

- to define the ethics of the B&B activity,
- to defend their interests
- and to promote their activity.

The purpose IS NOT to rent furnished flats to tourists, or perform as hotels in disguise.
The purpose IS to welcome people into our own homes and offer them accomodation for the night including breakfast and possibly dinner in the evening.
The specific conditions for which this accomodation is offered are clearly defined. Whether in the country, in the mountains, on the seaside or in the city, the house and its environment has to be attractive.

The Fleurs de Soleil quality charter, which limits the number of bedrooms to five and insists on a top quality welcome, gives the association great credibility. It gives it the status of a national organization representative of the B&B activity.

Each B&B home is supported by a local network of members who know each other and are known to the tourist authorities.

Lastly, each house is easily accessible worlwide on the Internet Fleurs de Soleil site, which is also registered with the national tourist office.

We do not have a central booking office : direct contact is free of charge and better adapted to our type of accommodation, as it opens the way to personal relationships between hosts and their future guests.
