Shirley and Steve Mathews would like to welcome you to their traditional Girondine stone house situated in the heart of the tranquil vines in the Entre Deux Mers. Ideally situated for visiting the many chateaux of the whole of the Bordeaux, Bergerac and Monbazillac wine regions.
We are a 5 minute walk from the charming village of Pujols which enjoys the benefits of a restaurant, grocery shop, bakery, hairdresser, post office and bank with ATM.
St Emilion is 15 minutes away and Castillon, on the river Dordogne, just 7 mins away. Castillon offers all the usual shops and facilities associated with a small town and during July and August hosts spectacular shows to celebrate the end of the 100 Year's War.
Bordeaux and Bergerac, both with international airports, can be reached in under an hour and the Atlantic coast and beaches are 75 minutes away. The high speed train (TGV) from Paris stops in Libourne (20 min.) and Bordeaux.
